Current With Batteries

As I was playing Super Mario Land 2, which I do every Monday night, I realized that a current in the system was making it possible for me to play this great game. The two things needed to have a current is a voltage difference and a connection path. The electrons are flowing from the negative side of the battery to the positive side. As you can see I removed the battery cover so that you can easily view the batteries at work. President's Day is awsome.

Center Of Mass

Since baseball season is right around the corner I was packing all of my gear for our first practice tomorrow. As I was sorting through all of my equipment, I picked up one of my bats and was trying to balance it on one finger. As I played around I remembered the concept of center of mass. There must be support below the objects center of mass in order to keep it standing up and an object's center of mass does not have to be within the object itself it can be where there is no material. Seniors are the dodgeball champs!
